The winery Alberto Longo is located in Lucera, Apuglia, in the province of Foggia. The winery was built in an old nineteenth-century building, completely renovated, with a view both to produce premium quality wines and to offer visitors a professional and qualified service.
The vineyards, which cover an area of more than 35 hectare,s are cultivated mainly with red grapes, in the full respect of the best traditions of Puglia, but certainly there are also white varieties in the vineyards: Syrah, Nero di Troia, Montepulciano d ' Abruzzo, Negramaro, Cabernet, Merlot, and Primitivo are the primary grapes used to make red wines, while the whites are made exclusively with grapes from Falanghina.
In the winery, modern winemaking techniques are used to create high quality wines, appreciated both nationally and internationally: among the wines produced by Alberto Longo we should mention some of the best red wines of Puglia Like the exceptional Primitivo di Puglia IGT or the fantastic Cacc'e Mmitte of Lucera DOC, a wine of rare quality. Also excellent the Falanghina, produced flat and spumante (sparkling), obtained through a long Charmat method, which allows to retain all the freshness of the fruit, while giving a product of great elegance
