Mier Vini
Wineries in CampaniaMier Vini, a small winery in Campania, in the heart of Taurasi. Greco di Tufo DOCG and Taurasi DOCG wine producers, Mier Vini mainly produces wines made from Aglianico, but also other typical wines of Campania such as an excellent Falanghina.
Mier Vini, a small winery in Campania, is at the center of the production area of the Taurasi DOCG, near Avellino.
Mier Vini was created to promote the wines of Taurasi and to protect their history, landscape and tradition. In fact, in compliance with that philosophy, in the production of its wines, Mier uses "simple" and traditional techniques, but with an eye to the protection and health of the wine produced, as well as provides production protocols suitable to produce high quality wines .
The aging of wine for DOCG (Taurasi and Greco di Tufo) takes place only in local chestnut barrels of small and large size. The chestnut has always been the wood that old wine growers used to store and age Aglianico wines, a process that has led Aglianico to obtain the DOCG.
This is the wine making philosophy that Mier Vini has decided to carry on.
