The winery from Piacenza was founded in 1930 by lamented Cav. Italo, leading exponent of contemporary enology for his complete dedication to this difficult task and for being among the main promoters for the DOC Colli Piacentini, and for its exploit.

Over the years the love of winemaking has been handed down from generation to generation, the winery has set out for its professionalism and its passion, that has allowed us to go on in the hallmark of quality and of the tradition started by Cav.Italo cited by Mario Soldati in the book "Wine to wine: the search for natural wines. The winery has been expanded and renovated over the years, reaching the full production autonomy thanks to the 70 hectares of vineyards, the pride of Casa Vinicola Testa. Every stage of production is followed with the utmost care, from the pruning to the maturation of the vines, from the crushing up to the bottling, each step is marked by controls of experts, according to tradition, in order to ensure the quality of our wines.

The winery has a large production of whites and reds Colli Piecentini DOC wines typical of the area such as Gutturnio, Bonarda, Cabernet Sauvignon, Ortrugo, Malvasia, Monterosso. In particular, we highlight the Cru of Casa Vinicola Testa: Gutturnio Reserve "La Gobba", Gutturnio "Vigna Ca' Bianca" and Ortrugo "Paolo III Farnese".
