The winery Collavini is located in Corno Rosazzo, near Udine, in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The winery's history, spanning more than a century, dates back to 1896, when began the production of great wines of Collio. Over a century after, wines rpoduced by the e winery Collavini are widespread and known around the world and can be considered among the best regional wines.
Wine production is vast and varied: Collavini, in fact, produces several white wines, mostly with appellation Collio DOC, red wines, sparkling and dessert wines; most used grapes for white wines are Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Friulano (fromerly know as Tocai) and Ribolla Gialla, while the reds are made mostly from Cabernet, Merlot, Refosco and Schioppettino.
Wine production is enhanced by a series of sparkling wines of exceptional quality, three whites and a rosé of particular value, and two of the most famous dessert wines of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Picolit and Verdac.
