Today has been completely renovated in the plant of the the vineyards, resulting in wines that, according to tradition, qualify for their unique characteristics.
The winery of the Castelli Romani, located on the top of Colle Favignano takes advantage of the exposure to the sun in an excellent way from sunrise to sunset.
The planting of vines designed for maximum exploitation of the thermal inertia of the ground, allows Tenuta Colle Favignano to obtain exceptional grapes from which the winery obtains two white wines and three reds.
WHITES
Malvasia, made with Malvasia grapes, vinified alone, and Antico Bianco, a blend of Malvasia and Greco.
Reds
Acciaio, from Sangiovese Grosso that ages three years in stainless steel tanks and in one in the bottle, Rasale of the Nebbi that after three years in steel, ages two more years in French oak then one in the bottle and Don Enrico from Cabernet Sauvignon, aged for five years in wood and in one in the bottle.
The reduced yield per hectare of grapes allows Tenuta Colle Favignano to obtain wines of great complexity and structure.
