The winery Cantine Salvatore is located in Ururi, a small village of Lower Molise, in Campobasso province.
The vineyards, at an altitude of 300 meters are planted with native and international grape verities: Falanghina, Montepulciano and Tintilia, a variety of typical Molise recently rediscovered and appreciated, especially by cantine Salvatore, currently the largest producer of wines made with Tintilia.
The care and attention to quality, especially in the cellar allow the winery Cantine Salvatore to produce wines with unique character and flavors: the company produces two white wines made from Falanghina and four red wines (IGT terre degli Orsi "land of bears", and Molise Rosso DOC): among them we suggest to try their wine made from grapes Tintilia only.
The wines produced by Cantine Salvatore have won many awards in national and international competitions and on the most prestigious Italian wine guides, ranging in fact from two glasses of the Gambero Rosso 2010, to the 2-star in the Slow Food guide, to more than 80 points out of a hundred assigned by Luca Maroni in his 2010 yearbook of Italian wines.
