The Antique Winery Poderi Jerzu is located in Sardinia, in the municipality of Jerzu in the province of Ogliastra. The winery, founded in 1950, is located in an area particularly suited to the cultivation of the vine, so that the first crops date back to the twelfth century. Today the company has more than forty members and has established itself as one of the best winemakers in Sardinia.
The vineyards, very large (750 hectares), are cultivated mainly with native varieties of Sardinia, as Cannonau, Monica and Vermentino. In the cellar, modern vinification methods, but in full respect of tradition, lead to a wide range of high quality wines, recognized and appreciated throughout the world.
The winery Poderi Zerdu produces a wide variety of wines of Sardinia: Cannonau di Sardegna DOC (sub-area Jerzu), Vermentino di Sardegna DOC, Monica di Sardegna DOC. Among the red wines notewotrhy are Cannonau di Sardegna Riserva DOC Antichi Poderi, a powerful wine, warm and fragrant, best suited to your roast, while among white wines, you can not lose the Telavè, Vermentino di Sardegna DOC made from selected grapes, elegant and aromatic, for all your more important fish dishes.
There are, then, more innovative wines, rosé, such as the Isara, Cannonau rosé, parkling wines, such as the Jerzu Brut, from Vermentino and Chardonnay,or sweet wines as the Pardu Rosso, past wine from Cannonau grapes .
