Wineries in SardiniaFrom the heart of Sardinia, a company that makes its passion for wine a job. Two wines, but of great quality: Balente a red wine from native Sardinian grapes (Cannonau, Bovale, Muristellu and Monica) and Galante, a white wine from pure Nasco
The quality of wine in Sardinia is now widely recognized and appreciated throughout the world. Many of the territories of our wonderful island are particularly suited to the cultivation of the vine so that they give us wines, both white and red, of a very high level of excellence.
Ortueri "City of Wine", a village in the province of Nuoro, in the hills of Mandrolisai, enter the Olympus of Sardinian wine regions: here, in the wine heart of Sardinia, as result are wines of extraordinary quality, especially for the extraordinary characteristics of climate and vineyards, and, of course, thanks to a unique tradition in grape growing and vinification of its fruit.
The vineyards are planted mainly with unique varieties, native to Sardinia: here are grown, in fact, the famous Cannonau, the Bovale Sardo (also known as "Muristellu"), the Monica and the Nasco.
The passion for wine and the natural inclination of the land offer high quality grapes: from exceptional growing in a safe environment and low yields, can, in fact, lead to obtain grapes rich in flavors and fragrances.
From vinification of grape so exceptional, come out powerful wines, harmonious and elegant, which give us feelings that refer to the sun, the aromas and scents of this beautiful area.
The wines we produce are two, both with the appellation Isola dei Nuraghi IGT: a powerful, structured red, the Balente, and a white charming and elegant, the Galante.
