Overview
The winery called "The Mincana" is in the production area of the Colli Euganei in Veneto and it is run by the family Dal Martellosince 1914. Produce wines with a clear idea that the best and only way is the quality, trying to put to the proper value. Our wines in their respective categories, are among the best in the area of production where we are in. In our winery you can taste the warm Colli Euganei DOC Rosso, the fragrant Cabernet Franc, the wild Carmenere, the elegant Merlot, powerful Cabernet Sauvignon, the nice Serprino and the cool and International Chardonnay. In the foothills to the east end of the Colli Euganei , in the town of Due Carrare, is situated the farm "La Mincana" owned by the family Dal Mrtello for three generations. The vineyards are the contour to the farm center, consisting of a complex that includes a sixteenth-century villa and an arcade, now houses of the wine cellars. The villa in the seventeenth century is owned by the noble Venetian family Dolfin that took over from Bondumier, holders in the sixteenth century. In the first half of the eighteenth century is was restructured in Palladian style, particularly evident in the northern loggia and in the oratory built in the west side of the villa.
The farm owned by the family Dal Martello since 1907 extends over an area of about 57 hectares of which 18 are vineyards. The main activity is production and sale of wine. A care management of vineyards, low yields of grapes per hectare, appropriate techniques and attention at various stages of winemaking provide a quality final product. La “Mincana” è facilmente raggiungibile perchè a poche centinaia di metri dal casello Terme Euganee dell'autostrada Padova-Bologna. The "Mincana" is easily accessible because it only a few hundred meters awy from the exit terme Euganee of the Padova-Bologna motorway. |

In the late eighteenth century Andrea Dolfin (ambassador to the Serenissima (Venice) in France) commissioned the architect Giannantonio Selva to build a garden in the southern orchard, one of the first of its kind in Italy. Few traces remain of the garden, the fish pond and ancient trees.
